Quick question. When people talk about "swapping out" when they get their daily task completed, I read that you press the 'X'. Is that the X that then says "Do you really want to dismiss ...?" or a different X?Thanks guys. I just don't want to mess this up.

I don't believe that most newcomers will struggle with it. There really haven't been this many questions about it until you came around. If you need to ask questions that is fine, but I think for most people the guide is more than sufficient. If everything was so detailed it would be an even longer read.

In all the time that it has been up there, not one person has ever had a problem with the wording, or anything to do with it, until now. That thread has been viewed in excess of 6,000 timesb and while I understand not all 6K have read every word of it, not one of them has felt the need to call out the author. Until now....

Yes thats exactly how quite a few people took your first post, as you can see by the response youve recieved here. Negative and offensive. As I have told you before, not everything needs to be aired out here, a PRIVATE message goes a very long way sometimes. Just some food for thought, take it for what it is worth to you

You tap the X in the top right corner of the task and then you click OK to dismiss it and the task should roll over to another task.

It resets at a different time then the new challenge shows up so you can actually change it twice in one day but not on consecutive days. (I hope that make sense).

I don't understand what happened. When my wife tapped the X it asked "Do you want to dismiss this task?" She tapped okay and it seems like all it did was reset the daily challenge. There was no reward of wands, or anything. Just have to start the challenge all over again.

So, you're saying 'swapping' really means 'reset' and hope the reward for the new challenge is better than the one you just threw away?

Most likely, the new daily task was either the same, or substantially similar to the one you wanted to replace and you didn't notice.

Swapping out lower paying (200 wand) tasks in hopes of obtaining a higher paying one is a good idea, really there's no downside, only a possibility of increased payout.

I don't know. Giving up 200 wands and having to re-do the entire daily challenge, which will take several hours, when the one I swapped for was also 200 wands feels a lot like a downside to me. lol

You swap them before you start the daily challenge, not after.

I didn't think it was even possibly to swap out afterwards :confused:

Unless you're up against an act deadline, and and you're short on event currency, there's more than enough time to complete dailies.
