Random people visiting my Springfield

This is a little off topic but I didn't want to start a new thread about it: Sometimes when I'm clearing buildings that DON'T have handshakes on, a neighbors name pops up. Anyone know why?

From what I've seen is this I'll use the Simpsons house as an example. If I have a neighbor that tapped the Simpsons house I clear the hand shake then I collect from that house again before someone else taps the person who last tapped has their name show up so I'm guessing that's why

This has happened to me as well. I play one town on my ipad and a different town on my iPhone. Several times a week I get a notification of visitors in both towns that I have never heard of, or tried to be neighbors with. But never any handshakes associated with the names. :shock:

Just got it as well

Yes - I've been getting non-neighbor "just visited" posts for about 2 days now. I don't know what is going on.

Started about the same time for me too.

I have too but come to find out it was from my husbands account who hasn't logged on since Valentines day...it was notifications from my husbands account

That's been happening to me. What I think is it's neighbours I've deleted and they've come on again under a different name, because I do have a neighbour who has always had two names but only one SF :!:
