Today, I was visited by 'FRINK'!!!! You and I aren't neighbors, and with all the players there are, HOW IN THE WORLD could BOTH of us be visited by the same non-neighbor???

I have also been visited by FRINK, also by FRIEND and a few other people and not just once but numerous times!! I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. And it's only been since be been on this forum. Ever since the fiasco they called the Xmas event, and me coming on here to express my severe disappointment in the issues the game had causing many of us not to be able to finish the event, I have had these two names plus a few others keep showing up in my town. I go to try to remove them from my neighbors because they keep vandalizing my buildings and I CANT! They're not my friends to remove!! I don't know what to do, my town was just starting to get better since I had removed the people before that were vandalizing me, now I can't even remove them... I'm just really getting sick of this game not working correctly! GET IT TOGETHER EA THIS IS RIDICULOUS!! Put some of that money you make from donut sales into the workings of this game, and not just more buildings you can sell for donuts I'm talking about bugs and connectivity issues. :roll:

Are you familiar with the concept of "bots"? Computer-users, not actual people? That's what these are.

They are part of the game system for people who don't create neighbors. If you have neighbors, they are not really needed but there's no way to shut them off.

Consider them gift taps from the system. They are free extra handshakes and nothing to get so worked up about.


EA has plenty of bugs to correct, this is true. But at least this one is a benefit, not a detriment to game play.

I'm only worked up because it is not free handshakes that I'm getting. I'm getting vandalized! My town hall, moes, the school and whatever else has the spray paint can is being clicked even when I have other buildings open that wouldn't be considered " vandalized". It would be fine if it was handshakes and therefore I wouldn't be on here posting, but it is negatively effecting my town status, so yes I'm a bit irritated. I'm thinking you would be too. I have two people Olita Devore and FRINK that keep vandalizing my buildings. I look for them in my neighbors to delete them and they aren't there... How can I stop this from happening?!

Also, with all the effort and time I put into trying to earn the event prizes and not being able to finish due to connectivity issues and/ or technical issues that seem to effect the game every time there is an event, of which I contact EA about only to be spoken to as if I don't know what I'm talking about even though I send a very thorough explanation of the issue, yea I get a little worked up. I've never been able to get close to finishing an event due to work or school or RL responsibilities so when I do take the time to try to earn the prizes only not to be able to for reasons beyond my control (but that EA could have helped with or compensated us accordingly since it was issues on their end) it feels like my time and effort was wasted. So yea I'm a bit perturbed, as are others they just understand it's a waste of time to even bother to voice their grievances as nothing will be done about it anyway.

and yes I'm quite aware of bots and correct me if I'm wrong but this game doesn't have neighbor bots such as you're talking about. Because I have never had non neighbors visit my town before. Only since all these crazy connectivity issues have I had random people visiting my Springfield.

Being vandalised is a GOOD thing. It gives you free money and FP you'd otherwise never get. And the negative effects are removed when you clean them. If in doubt, just continue levelling until you can build training walls to offset the negative effects.
