i really cant believe that is the reason.. once mapple is a computer store, made by Matt Groening and his team. Otherwise, they should remove homer´s "mypad" task.
Cool brown house dont have anything that competes with android and apple and was removed too..
some itens are there for limited time. I really dont think that some android user could complain about mapple is looking like apple.
Cool Brown House was a give away. The Mapple store was a pseudo-premium item. Cost donuts; but didn't have premium payout.
And I doubt Google demanded the removal of the Mapple Store for competitive reasons. If that was the case, it would have been gone before the droid rollout; and quite possibly never release to us.
