Release older buildings for newer players!
Well, many of the items were limited time or tied to episodes, so it wouldn't make sense to release them again. They have released some old items here and there so you never know though.

I think the only reason the Halloween (and possibly American Thanksgiving and Christmas) stuff was re-released was because last year, when they were first put out, the game was only available on iOS. So those of us Android players who only gained access to the game around February (I personally started in April) didn't have the opportunity to get those buildings/items.
NOW, that they've been made available worldwide, I like to think that it would be far less likely that we see them available again next year. I'd like to think we'll have all new items to work with next year.
