Release older buildings for newer players!
Well, many of the items were limited time or tied to episodes, so it wouldn't make sense to release them again. They have released some old items here and there so you never know though.

I like that they give everyone a second chance to get items they may have missed, and I don't see a problem with it. I think there would only be a problem if they keep bringing back the same items every year, because then people will stop rushing to buy donuts because they know the item will just be back next year anyway.
It's not a bad theory, and you might actually be correct. BUT, I'm not sure there would really be a big problem if EA brought back the same items every year. I actually believe that most players don't play this game for more than a year. This would mean that each year, it would probably be mostly new players buying large amounts of donuts to get the items they missed out on.
Most likely it'll just be forumpeople that keeps playing this game for longer than a year or two, so this forum will always be skewed on whether to bring every old item back or not, each corresponding season.
