Righteousness raising dropped from 5 to .5 stars overnight?

Righteousness is a fickle is a fickle stat; it's supposed to be based off of vandalism, tapping Sideshow Bob, but often you can see some weird behavior like what you're getting. It worked poorly before and but it seems to be worse with the Sideshow Bob gone and during events.

If you're worried about it, really the only way around it is to build a lot of training walls. A lot of people do this since it's the only spammable decoration that gives you righteousness. You can then hide them behind taller buildings.

I need to add to this. I have a neighbor who routinely vandalizes my town. I have added training wall after training wall after training wall. Money is no object - I can afford the training walls. What I can't afford is the space taken up hiding all the walls. (Maybe I'll PM this neighbor, since I do like her.)

ya I dont feel like making my town ugly with training walls all over the place or tyring to hide them. From what I read you need tons and that still may or may not fix it. EA should just get rid of this raiting all together from the osunds of it, it never has worked.

This just happened to me as well. Again. What i noticed so far about this time is it hasnt came back up like it usually has, just dropped and stayed there for quite along time now. Prob getting close to a week now

I just checked mine: My A town has dropped to 1 star, but my B town is still at 5. I don't know when my A town's dropped, but I just checked my ratings the other day and I didn't see it down (it's always my Tree Hugging that's low and I can't seem to raise it no matter how many trees I have).

Yeah, mine dropped from 5 to 0.5 today, weird.

Glad I'm not the only one. My tree hugging rating hates me. I did notice my stars behaving oddly too. I have a neighbor that always vandalizes too and no matter how fast I clean it up my stars go down, then a few hours later back up. It is really weird.

This kind of thing drives me nuts. I have had without training walls maintained a 5 star in this. The game arbitrarily with no actual cause plummets it to 1/2 a star. It then takes weeks before it just arbitrarily goes back to 5 stars despite my efforts to bring it back up. I also am one who refused to spend tons of time hiding a bunch of training walls to fix something that should not be happening. Why they don't listen to us and take some of the buildings and items in the game that are of a righteousness category and make the that category I will never know. I've posted lists a number of time if I recall correctly as this topic has come up in the past.

I have a stupid number of training walls hidden because of this. I've now banned my friends from tagging my town or they get dropped, which I tell them from Day 1.

Send your criminals to jail or to face a lineup often - don't let them commit crimes

Keep Snake under control, he's a one man righteousness killer

Used my THOH currency to buy loads of walls which helped (as did the spooky trees and bushes for tree hugger rating)

Mine's broke. I've been at two stars for a week now and this is the first time it refuses to go back up. I've got at least 10 training walls hidden over my town and I send all the criminals to prison at least twice a day, but it refuses to reset itself. Even going to OS and tapping Side Show Bob hasn't worked. Normally it only stays down for a day or two, but I'm starting to suspect a glitch.
