deleted many for this very reason, but delete the ones that don't visit first. If you wanna be fairish about it.

I don't think its outright rude I assume most people don't know about it. If you see someone tap their three times and not hit your tile then go to their town and if they have a tile don't hit it. I just came out of my game where someone had tapped three building on my sp but not a one on the tile.
If they are tapping your SP, then that's a good sign that they're actually trying to tap a tile, but probably just don't see it available. I know I do this a lot when I look for the tile and it's not there.
