Saving Coins.
It looks very likely that they will work. Myself I'm counting on it since I'm carrying a lot of coins to the next Act.

I also hope that the crafting materials appear more frequently with Act 2. I got decent amounts of these for the first half of Act 1 but then they slowed to a trickle.
Perhaps that was intentional to keep people from getting too far ahead - we'll see. If the current rate continues into Act 2, it'll be nigh unto impossible to get all the items, but I suspect it'll become more "balanced" again soon.
Still holding those coins until tomorrow! :)
