It happened once to me - bought a scratcher with google play credit (thanks free surveys) - as soon as the purchase went well on google's side, the game jumped to the loading screen and kicked me out. When I logged back in I got the ingame message that the purchase went well but I got no scratcher. Livechatted with some guy, sent him a screenshot of the receipt and my mayhem ID and he added a scratcher to my inventory. Fast and easy. But I only got 9 donuts from it :(
