Congratulations! I have had very good fortune with scratcher tickets...100 donuts at least twice, and 50 several times. Over all, I think it's been better than buying donuts outright, and much more entertaining! I bought 3 on Tuesday...got 9, 50 and 9.
I've never bought a scratcher; they don't seem to be worth the risk. For example, this guy popped 68 donuts on three scratchers for 3 bucks. Sound good? Well that equates to .044 cents per donut. An increase of .0025 cents per donut at the boatload rate (2400 donuts for $99.99). Doesn't seem like much of a difference. But if you were to buy a boatload at the value he got for his 3 scratchers, you would pay $105.88, or an increase of $5.89. Still doesn't seem like a lot, does it? Now look at it as if you purchase exactly 100 scratchers and received the value of his 3 scratchers -- you would earn 2266.44 donuts. That's a whopping 133.56 donuts less than you would earn if you had just bought a boatload.
Given the probabilities of receiving each payout amount, over the course of 100 scratchers you will average .0755 cents per donut. That is roughly equivalent--though, still slightly less--to a tray of 132 donuts for $9.99. So if you're planning on spending more than $10 on scratchers, you would likely get a better value by buying donuts in bulk.panopticnic wrote:

It really depends on how you are purchasing and affordability. I purchase btwn 2-4 scratchers weekly on either friday night or Saturday. Unless there is an event then I might purchase 2 additional ones during the week. This is for two reasons. 1) I can't afford boatloads and would end up just buying hte $4.99 ones anyway, and 2) because I just like the idea of the scratchers. Being surprised and all that. I am not much of a gambler ( didn't even buy my first lotto ticket until I was 29- which was just a month or so ago) but like these. It's a good thing there aren't too many scratchers with the match three or I might actually buy a weekly scratch ticket. Just love those games :) Actually, I guess I have a third reason, because I have had a lot of luck with them. Much to Kris's dismay

I'm still pres, and there is a 50 donut fee.
Oh dont give her a club....she will never let me in  Plus she will just rag on me how I'm not in the 100 club lol *Runs and hides*
http://i.imgur.com/G4eZ5vz.jpg- don't have any pics of my winnings as i usually just tap the box away and spend them but i've gotten at least 8 or more jackpots a few 50's and 20's and a lot of 9 and 6 donuts.
what i do is spend $10 on them and see if i can make more donuts then the $10 donut option sometimes i get a lot more then it sometimes i don't... pretty much all my premium items have been bought with scratcher wins. - just paid for 3 of them. And all i got was 20, 6 ,6 . I can live with that and go to sleep with no problem.

Like I said in the PM EVILLL!!!  Enjoy the vacation!- I have only bought two so far, first was 100 and second was 50 donuts this morning. Bargain!
