I recently bought and upgraded the beach hideaways. Now I am at 1.5 billion SH $.The maximum value for SH $ is capped at 2 billion iirc. There is simply no reason to go for the extra 500 millions. On the other hand... the grind is available, so I might as well go for it... :smiley: Is anyone doing it?How is your experience? I think it is super hard, since the craftable items do not give that many $$.What are your thoughts and experience?

I'm at like 1.7b. I never really thought to bother. I don't think it would take too long. I got to 1 billion pretty quick. Normally grinded on the weekends when watching tv. The only reason I tried that hard was to top a friend in my list. After I was #1 I was unfriended. lol

No reason to do it really unless you enjoy the grinding. I do SH stuff while watching movies. When I'm serious about it I'll put Kwik-E-Marts and Krusty Burgers around the production buildings to get a little extra exp and cash for tapping.

grinded my way to 1b, and took out my frustration about the 4x weekend which basically was a slap in the face to all of us who previously grinded for our 1b by going ahead and banging out the other 1bwasnt even initially planning to do the first billion, as it was such a tedious and boring grind for something that is only minor on the simpsons...the tasks lengths were just terrible for something that takes so long

The only goal I have in SH is to finish up my buildings. I may end up going up to 2 mil while doing it. But I'm not rushing through it and I only have a few buildings left at level 4

But I'm not rushing through it and I only have a few buildings left at level 4the only thing worthwhile is the hidden XP (which does not even require building upgrades) if you are an XP farmer...albeit each massive building is only about 1% XP bonus. of course you get a character if you hit 1b (which was what ultimately lead to me doing it), but unless you really want that character not worth the time

I am at 1.62 billion and slowly grinding towards 2 billion. I have two friends at 2,000,000,000 and 2 other friends higher than me so I am number five on my friends list. I do think being number five is pretty awesome but regularly check and I see others raising their value so it's a good motivator to keep raising mine just to keep up.

I don't have extra buildings so it's pretty tough.

It was hard grinding to get to that figure.

I hit the one billion during the 4x weekend. I didn't think I would ever do it. I'm at 1.1 billion now. Only thing left is to upgrade the rest of my buildings and fill each building with the craftables so the icons go away. 3 buildings + the SH craftable buildings. With the insanity game providing about 10 pharmaceticals every day it's only the yoga mats that are going to bother me to craft

I'm at 1.5 billion. Unless EA forces part 3 on us, I plan on never returning there. Oh the horror of Springfield Heights. For me, worst thing to ever hit the game.

I'm currently at 1.5 bn and I only reached this point because of the 4x thingy. I wanted to have all my buildings fully upgraded (I'm perfectionist), and that was really helpful.

I kinda like SH, but it's sooo tiresome... I don't see myself at 2bn without new buildings from a future(?) Part 3.

I'm at 800K. I don't bother grinding for it, I just send people for materials when I'm on normally and upgrade buildings if I happen to notice one of them has the hammer over it.

Maybe if they bring back 4x. Other than that I'm not touching it. I too would like to see more land released.
