As much as I agree that SK is overpriced, since I only care about characters, I didn't want to miss it.

I was hoping to make it through Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas without having to buy more donuts - I assume there'll be another post-Xmas sale, and I was saving my iTunes balance until then.

I still might make it - I have 469 donuts, and that might be enough to cover the limited time items between now and the (hoped for) sale...

If anything you'll at least be able to get Boobarella and Devil Flanders it should only cost you 175 for both

Seems more likely he's asking about Shadow Knight's outdoors tasks.

I ended up buying it (I really liked that episode), but 200 donuts is a bit steep. Hopefully they will give us better pricing on premium items during Halloween... But that may just be my wishful thinking again...

He looks kind of cool next to the Bad Dream house. I think I can work him in when i do my Halloween area, so that even if I put my castles in storage he looks a little less out of place. I like that the throne is large enough to stand out a little, instead of some of the decorations that disappear into the background. A bit out of scale next to the house, but I suppose the Dark Knight is supposed to be imposing.



Would be interested to know how often they have put out these odd limited time premium items just after the first of the month. That's payday for a lot of people, and spending money is sometimes easier to come by for those lucky enough to have a little extra to spend.

Yeah, I know I can afford those 2 - assuming they're brought back again. The question is what NEW limited premium content will appear for Halloween - and what possible Thanksgiving premium content there might be.

In terms of new Christmas premium stuff, I can wait until after 12/25 to buy that. I assume it'll be available into January so I don't have to buy it as soon as it hits the game. If I have the donuts to spare pre-hoped-for-donut sale, then I'll get it, but I can wait.

Worst case scenario? I get $25 worth of donuts to hold me over for the sale.

Actually, the worst case scenario is that there IS NO SALE, but I refuse to accept that possibility! :D

Soooo instead of a final week deal with something to spend my ~90,000 elixir on there is an update with a "deal" to spend 200 donuts or about $15-$20 on a chair deco and a skin for a character that already has a premium skin. It runs 4 days so we can certainly not expect any actual content until Halloween next week. Icing on the cake for me thinking COC was worse than Easter.

Im gonna get a couple scratchers on saturday, if I strike it big I might buy him.

But c'mon EA! 200 donuts this close to Halloween? Drop a donut sale on us and see your sales figures soar! ...or at the very least rise marginally before plateauing.
