I'm sorry tappers missed out but they are the ones who assumed craftables would still be available. That is not EAs fault, games are always subject to change and EA are known for not running every single Tapped Out event the same.
Nevertheless, it's very frustrating for the players who saved their event currency for it. At least in future events, I know that new policy from EA.
