That's the point! I also had enough to craft it but decided to hold off in case I needed to craft something more important in part 2+.
Agreed, my point too. It was the lack of warning, or rather the fact the crafting wording (to me) actively made me think the craftables would be staying. However, I've been really enjoying this event, so I won't let this ruin it. And I guess there's still the possibility the items will return at the end of the event.
I'm really trying to not let this ruin the whole game for me, but honestly right now it is really hard. I know it's just a game, but right now I feel really kind of let down. I feel like EA deliberately tricked us and cheated us out of those prizes. All they had to say was "Prizes end Dec 18" then we would know we had to craft them or lose them. But it was just sprung on us as a surprise that they were no longer available and I think that's wrong.
I was just about to drop a wad of cash on a big load of doughnuts. Now I feel like there's no point in any of it.
