Small Ingame update: Promo Back To School
When I went into my game after seeing this on his site it did a download. Not sure how large a file.

I don't know if the constant sales and Gil deals are being put forward as filler in the place of actual content. It may be that EA has just decided that the deals are making them money so they keep conjuring up new ones. It also just so happens that it's the summer and they're not working very hard on new content because lots of programmers are on vacation. In other words, the constant sales and lack of new content may not really be related.
i prefer this to huge bugs on events (see Valentine's Day 2012's Harp of Death)
