Space Coyote still earn peppers
You should be able to send the others as well Carl, Lenny, Cletus et all. They usually do that for the mini events and let players finish the prize they are on. No need to rush using donuts.

I have Cletus and Moe there now as well. Which gets me 12 peppers, but I am 18 short now. I was hoping to finish this before this evening. But do you think I need to worry about finishing today, or if I may still be able to tomorrow? Thanks again!

Edit 2: I actually went into my game and read the text for the quest, and it had actually been changed to finish your quest to earn your reward. Instead of finish all tasks by June 15th to all new content or something like that with the date.
