Fwiw I''m pagan in inclination (in a nature based way) and def support the disconcertion re Ba'al use / equalling satanism with paganism.
I'm v excited re maggie getting her snowsuit if confused as to why this will happen just before the snow goes away...
And honestly I do think the negativity towards the person who doesn't like the lamb sacrificing thing is very harsh! I would agree that it's pretty weird to come up with an animation of a baby murdering - well a baby animal - or to think people would particularly want to have something like that in their game.
