This is cool but I kind of doubt we are getting sideshow bob as a playable character for an episode tie in because for people who join after the tie in it would be unfair because sideshow bob is a pretty popular character in the show. I think we will have some dialog with bob but not get him as a playable character and I also think EA will make fun of us for talking about a playable bob so much. As for a reward well we might not get one but if we do it will probably be something from that episode. Although it would be cool if they add level 39 that day with sideshow bob as the character for the quest line :)

In inclined to agree with you. To be honest, I seriously doubt we'll ever get a playable Bob, let alone get him as an episode tie in.

Well, I don't know. They could always re-release him as a premium character later. I mean, Barney is a pretty pivotal character in the show, and he costs 250 donuts for anyone who wasn't around to snag him for free... :)

I Personnally think we're all getting our hopes up for nothing. We have a new crop given to us for free and a premium falcon, so going on previous tie ins this has fulfilled EA's usual modus operandi. I'm still hoping, but not real hard :mrgreen:

About the episode tie-in: will there a question be asked after the episode? Thisnwas hinted after the last task by homer. If so, will the answer be given somewhere, as i can't watch the new episode untill later this year in Belgium.

The questions are going to be answered in the new episode. Also since there are two episodes premiering on the same day it is possible we can get the boy the raises the falcon for free and maybe sideshow bob or something else from that episode for free. But there is one thing we are forgetting Homer mentioned saint patty's day what if this quest is leading up to that and the falcon and boy are the episode tie in. Another possibility could be that sideshow bob could be a friend points prize or a prize for saint patty's day. If he is a friend points prize i'm sure it would motivate a lot of people (including me) to visit my friends more and if he is a saint patty's day prize then he will most likely be available for doughnuts after.

Ive been getting sideshow less frequently. Although, if I visit other Springfield more than once a day, he'll usually make an appearance.

I don't understand why EA would just give us Sideshow Bob out of nowhere for an episode tie-in. I would understand if it were for a standard level update, but a random episode tie-in is just absurd.

Fat Tony (or Mafia Tom :twisted: ) was given to us in an episode tie-in; and later on he was offered in a level update. So it's fully possible to get Sideshow Bob the same way.

We can always get something tomorrow you never know
