Springfield Heights/Billionaire's Haven Math Need help

I am ashamed to admit I totally forgot the name of the person who created and posted this chart a few months ago, but i had immediately downloaded it, so here it is. The right-most column on this chart shows the best payout based on REV-per-minute return for time invested.

The chart doesn't fit the forum width, so you need to scroll a lot to see that far right column, but when I tried once to shrink it to fit, it was unreadable. It's a treasure of information IMHO.

Hope I'm not ninja'd before I post this. :)

  • Yeah business centers are good. I honestly didn't strategize much other than stopping production of trophys to gain pills. Usually just sent all charecters I had available (monorail and temp task always come first) and upgraded whenever the little icons popped up.
  • Moving business centers from level 4 to level 5 is a real bear. (125 Pills plus 50 Awards Statues == I hope you have no need for Yoga Mats any time soon.) I would avoid that as much as possible. In fact, I just finished out my business centers a few weeks ago and I banged through to Billionaire's Haven as quickly as possible.

However, moving to level 4 isn't as bad. You get $7.75 million for each Business Center you move from level 3 to level 4, and $6.2 million for each Valet Parking you move from level 3 to level 4 so not worrying about maxing either out, with the buildings you already have, you've got $38.75 million available from the 5 Business Centers and $43.4 million from the 7 Valet Parking Garages, so just those will get you where you need to go, without even needing the $21.2 million you could get from your two Classic Mansions.

I think what I would do is go to town on the Valet Garages and play the others by ear a little bit depending on how you feel your supplies are holding up, knowing you can finish without the classic mansions, but having them ready to go if you feel like they're going to be a more efficient use of resources.

All of this assumes you have all the characters who produce in Springfield Heights, including premiums. If you don't, you might prefer another strategy.
  • I grind the buildings type by type, 9 at one go because the first one that the story got you to build i quickly dispatched of them from my task book.

i'm now left with 2 Business Centers and 9 Modern Mansions for Chapter 1, Chapter 2 i'm saving for later. The way i grind (9 lv 1s -> 9 lv 2s -> ..... -> 9 lv 5s) makes the Business Centers psychologically tiring to grind. At lv 5, i have to replenish 225 Pills (125 native + 100 from the Trophies) before i can start upgrading the next.

Obviously the rewards are better then Valet Parking ($6m difference per max upgrade) for the extra time required. I just don't find the joy in particularly grinding Business Centers, maybe that's just me and my way of grinding. I do not have Stu, Jasper and Bumblebee Man btw.

You may want to experiment and mix it up by upgrading a mix of Business Centers and Valet Parkings. A lot also depends on your style of play and schedule. I'm more of an OCD type of player, so i do things systematically.
  • Thanks so much to everyone who has posted. That chart is amazing, Annette. And yes, I have all the premiums who produce in SH. I also have 59 of the Oscars in storage now, so I could take one of the Business Centers up to level 5 without grinding. I will probably do that, along with just moving the others up to level 4 and the valet parking up to level 4.

I've kinda been waiting to really design my SH until I finished the Billionaire's Haven. I did not want to maybe change my design later.

Anyway, thanks again for all the replies!

And as absurd as it sounds, don't underestimate jet skis, Springfield Heights Gates and Fancy Gold Palmtrees (the big ones) They pay out 3,000 REV per minute, and just need chairs. Which, IMHO is a lot less complicated than keeping track of whether you have enough coffees to make radios to make pills ... On the downside, you need to grind every 30 seconds. ;)

i TOTALLY forgot about those, i made like 20 jet skis and 50 gold plamtrees, theyre totally worth it^^
  • I just reached 500M and need to take a break from the grind.....so I'm grinding monorail tracks.

My strategy is going to be to upgrade everything to level 5.

Jet skis are quick and easy as well. I probably could crank out a bunch of gold palm trees too.
