attempts at designing an ‘accurate’ Springfield aren’t that common so I wasn’t at all annoyed by this thread @Johnny2bd. I’ve sent an invite, looking forward to seeing what you’ve done with the place ?
Accepted and I really enjoyed your town. Really nice to pull up someone else's work and immediately go "oooOOooo." It's always an inspiration to see good design choices you hadn't thought of.
While I like a number of my designs (I'm especially proud of my casino area and the international region), what I think sets mine apart is a concentration on the zoning and creating a natural, logical flow to them all.
A town square with the shows core businesses around it.
Residential areas - normal, upscale and lower class. Schools nearby.
A business district.
An upscale business district.
A factory district.
A rundown business district (a few actually).
A rural area, etc.
Themed areas designed together and flowing as well as possible. Still need to tighten up my Christmas area, I ended up just kind of dumping everything there when I opened up the new land. I'm waiting for this season to redesign it (same with finishing up the spooky area).
Anyways, thanks for the add and I hope you enjoy it
