I mean my town already generates a ton of cash per day so maybe I'm over reacting.

The kids generate $100 per 4hrs. They work similar to how the "visitors" do in Krustyland, i.e. if you don't tap on them, they build up another $100 over the next 4hrs, and so on, usually up to a maximum per 24hrs.

So tapping them after the following yields:
- After 4hrs = $100
- After 8hrs = $200
- After 12hrs = $300
- After 16hrs = $400
- After 24hrs = $500
*Base rate - also gets bonus multiplier adjustment depending on your town's rate.

As long as you tap them before getting to 24hrs (the only one that doesn't yield the same rate as the rest), you're getting the most income from 'em.
