star spawn tapping

I kind of wonder/hope that EA will fix this in a few days. It reminds me of the community goal counter that showed we clearly weren't going to get anywhere near the goals for the prizes and then they adjusted the counter/numbers/goals to something more reasonable.
I for one am only getting about 250 candy apples a day (and a play A LOT) so I'm note sure what EA is expecting us to do......

Every so often, I tap a star spawn and get a candy apple but it is few and far between.

Game is totally screwed up now, please sort EA

I am not even bothering tapping the Star Spawns. And yeah, I don't see getting many of the prizes in this act if they don't change the way it works. I had the prizes for the previous two acts a week before they ended. It seems like the devs decided to try something new and it wasn't quite as well thought out as they may have believed.

Something else I've noticed with the Star Spawns...

If my town is completely clear of Star Spawns, go visit a couple of friends for less than 5 mins, when I return to my town there is an influx of Star Spawns with the overflow message.

While my campfire is level 56, these extra Star Spawns come from a different location, not the campfire and seem to be about 20-30 of them.
