- Played FG for a few months. The game owners were simply too greedy. It was impossible to get anywhere without spending a LOT of cash.
I deleted FG.
Still enjoying Tapped Out quite a bit, still playing and still happily buying donuts once in a while.
Nuff Said! - I gave up FG during the mafia event. When they released Mike Tyson (who is not a good guy) I knew I had enough.
One thing they have over TSTO Halloween. They actually release classic horror characters. Before I quit I had Alien, Predator, Freddy & Jason. This year Michael Myers, Chuck, Pinhead. - I LOVED Quest when it was released but it got boring fast and now due to it's size I can't even play it on my phone anymore. TSTO is MUCH better

Are you guys serious or joking about minions and smurfs? Cuz I installed smurfs a while back but haven't checked it out yet.
When Smurfs' Village came out several years ago I installed it and I really enjoyed it. I stopped playing after a while though and then TSTO came out. It's the only game I have time for anymore. SV is pretty simple though. Because farm/grind for everything. There really isn't much too it. When it came out it was pretty different for it's time.
Homer even references it in the dialogue between and the documentarian around level 55? 56? - TSTO 100%
FG has too many flaws:
-Much more clam based than TSTO being donut based. Too many overpriced premiums, including skins and characters.
-Your premium characters are only useful for the event they were added for. Else they go to inventory.
-Premium items are the same. 1 time use, then go to storage
-Have to grind for super rare items. Often taking weeks to collect 10 items. TSTO thankfully does not have anything of this sort of 'random' drop rate to unlock major features/characters.
-Premium items offer no % bonus, or % rates for money/xp
-Neighbor visits are 100% pointless
-Absolutely no town design. Minimal land which barely allows any sort of design.
-No design options. Can't add rivers or even payment. Only roads.
-Every event is just recycled parts of last events (hiring a fireman seems awfully familiar to hiring a mobster, or perhaps a bee keeper? How about bombing non-tappable NPCs?
-Leaderboards were done with buying your way to the top to be a lucky person to get a 1 of a kind item. leepierce27 wrote:
Yeah, no way would EA sell a character for donuts that was only from the game. Could you imagine if, say, like during this casino update they would just create some stupid character like a walking poker chip and sell it to people?
the items in TSTO are related to the show, where FGTQFS makes up random items just for the cash.- wadebear9 years agoRetired Hero

I pop into Minions 2 or 3 times a day. It's actually kinda fun. It's pretty much all crafting, but you're crafting different stuff to combine in different ways. And there's mini games - though I've only accessed one so far. They're a nice break. - I wouldn't ask for opinions here, OP. Try the Quest for Stuff thread in Off Topic. People in Game Discussion tend to be very biased and quite uninformed.

Except "Chippy" is in no way comparable to the premium event characters in Family Guy. Chippy is just for fun and not necessary to complete the event, nor is he really that desirable from a celebrity perspective. Family Guy premium event characters are usually celebrities or famous characters (the aforementioned horror characters for example) and there is no real way to complete the event without buying them. TSTO may make up occasional characters but you are not going to fail an event because you didn't buy them.wadebear wrote:

What I like about Minions is the humour - especially when you get 3 characters on a task. And also the part where you can make them all gather precariously on a bridge.
There does exist a point where leveling no longer has any benefit, but for now I'll just log in every now and then. Compared to other casual games I play, it's quite bug free.
I'm all for the variety of buildings Tapped Out has though.
