Yesterday just like the rest of you fellow tappers I downloaded the update. Having been at level 23 for weeks I really looked forward to leveling up. I recently purchased the Springfield sign along with the Apartment, the Post office and the Donut shop and was working the quests for Channel 6. My Springfield was coming right along. Then setting all my other characters off for 12 hour tasks, as I do every night, I logged off for the night. Today I logged on and was greeted by Homer as if starting the game for the first time....and then a field of snow. My heart dropped. No! No! No!! I thought maybe I wasn't logged into Orgin. Relogged in make sure to actually type in my logon credentials and once again was greeted by Homer at the Nuclear plant. I have lost my beautiful Springfield. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Now in the process of uploading all the updates and of course the servers aren't being cooperative. If this doesn't work then that's it for me. I don't have the heart to rebuild....

Wow, tough luck. I hope you get back your Springfield and EA is addressing the problem as there have been others who have lost their Springfield due to the new update.
