That said, I'm right there with you on not ponying up extra to watch. That's one of the joys of living in Canada -- hockey is everywhere!

Truthfully, I didn't see one hockey game last year. I've been busy with work and life. I didn't want make the effort to go and find it to watch it. Maybe this year though.

Has anyone seen a game in Denver. Worst live sports experience in my life. I almost got ejected from the game for cursing too much. I wasn't even cursing that much or that bad and there were no small children around. The place has no electricity and no excitement. It was so quite in there. I was later told they call the place the "Library".

Ottawa can be like that also. Sure, the fans there know their hockey (and don't have a a ton of morons just shouting "shoot" every time they cross the blue line) but they are awfully quite. Like deathly quiet.

And then Sens fans get all uppitty when the Habs or Leafs come to town. Suddenly, the building is half Sens fans, half Habs/Leafs fans and the Sens end up getting booed in their own barn. Its funny.
