Very good point about level updates being permanent additions, while these events (mini or not) offer limited time items. EA could very well consider the latter to be preferable because people are more tempted to spend (and buy) donuts for limited time items, as opposed to Barney. They offer Barney in that one deal making him limited time with a skin and a rebate and there you go. They probably wish that all of the premium offers were limited time. Yes, doomsday prediction says no more levels. I just wish they'd finish off the levels at an even number. 60 or preferably 100. (The bonus levels will have painfully high XP goals by then. So, I also don't wish for this.)
