That's more like it!

At least some people "get it"... putting Tapped Out on the PS4/One would just expand its audience.
yes but who cares
Oh, I don't know, 31% of the people who voted in this poll? It's probably a safe bet that at least 30% of the people who voted "No" said so just because they don't have/can't afford a One/PS4.
And you figure new content will end soon based on --
You're logic is terrible. The 31% who said yes already have the game so how would adding it to a console expand the audience?
I think TSTO would be an awful idea to make on a console. Think about how most people play: they log in for a few minutes while waiting in line, on a work break, while eating, during tv commercials, etc. Rarely do people log in for more than a few minutes unless they are visiting neighbors. Who is going to start up their console and tv and load up the game to play for 5 minutes and then turn everything off?
Tsto works cuz it is a fantastic time waster for a few minutes several times a day. This requires it to have quickly, easy access a la portable devices.
I want to say that I am absolutely amazed that you misused "You're" ... that deserves some mega "I'm a failure" award.
Anyway, I didn't say people who voted would expand the audience? The audience would expand because people with a PS4/One would see the advertisement and download it. Maybe they haven't seen it on the App Store (or don't have a phone/tablet) and would play it in that case. Don't question my logic when yours doesn't even exist.
And people who take their Springfield seriously don't often spend "a couple minutes" on Tapped Out. Those who actually care what their Springfield looks like can spend a considerable amount of time tinkering their town. Speak for yourself.
Sorry about my misspelling. I was typing on an ipad while eating breakfast and caring for a 3y/o. Thank you high skool interweb tough guy for pointing that out. I also used "quickly" when I should have used "quick." I guess your grammar ability doesn't extend to adjectives though.
You responded to someone asking how the audience would increase by saying that it would by the 31% who voted yes. This is as terrible of logic as your saying that 30% of the people who voted no did so because they don't have/can't afford an X1/PS4. 73% of people reading what you write, think you're a moron making stuff up. Look! I can make up percentages, too.
I take my SF seriously and I only spend a few minutes at a time. How often do people actually spend a long time on the towns? Only when visiting neighbors or redesigning. Maybe you redesign a lot, but most people don't, especially once they hit max level. The occasional make room for an update aside.
Someone mentioned that consoles could allow for a multi-move feature. This would be cool and something I have long wanted in this game.OrdealByFire wrote:

If you're gonna try to insult me, at least make sure you're quoting me and not someone else.
Also, the comma goes inside of the quotes. Does that not get taught until Junior year of High Skool?OrdealByFire wrote:
Surely they could just add a mouse pointer? I always wondered why there's no PC browser version. The game works perfectly well on PC - I play using the Bluestacks App Player, an Android emulator.LPNintendoITA wrote:
Its called tapped out for a reason. U tap. So only wiiu and ds/3ds works. Maybe psv?
...And you tap A or X on a controller. What's the difference? Why do you need a screen to "tap"?i_set_fire wrote:

"Gonna" isn't a word, sorry to disappoint. Really going to nitpick? There's quite the difference between "your" and "you're".
Ohp! Did it again.- I don't understand the bickering going on in this thread. The OP is right in that putting this on game consoles would broaden the audience. Whether it would broaden it enough to recoup the costs of the port, I have no idea, but given how much we spend on donuts and such, I'd guess it would. More exposure for the game is never a bad thing.
Depending on how the mouse feature works with the joystick/kinect/PS4's touch pad, clicking does have a good chance of becoming easier, cause there are several times where I do have to tap on the same spot to select something instead of the 10 things around it. The way it could work on a console is that you could hover the mouse pointer and move it around slightly until it highlights the item you want. Once it is highlighted, you would click (tap) one of the buttons, and it would select that item immediately instead of having to multi-tap around through the neighboring objects.
Also, the new consoles (PS4 and XBox1) are made to quickly jump between applications. This would mean users could load up Tapped Out, do all their tapping, switch to another application when they're done, and then switch back when it's time to do more tapping. Load times have been greatly reduced in the newer consoles, so I don't think there'd be much waiting at all.
Plus, since the consoles are all online now, when loading up the game, you could connect to the EA servers to load your towns, just like you do now on your phones and tablets. This way, someone who wants to play on both a phone and a console can with the same town. This would also make it possible for table users to interact with the towns of people who only play on consoles. And remember, if you don't want to play on a console, YOU DON'T HAVE TO - but it would be nice for those who want the choice to be able to.
Also, about the grammar bickering . . . I dun cAr hou u lik mei speling is lonng is u cann reed it! - ^ Stop being rational. That sort of thing isn't allowed on the internet.

Also what about the screen? How will they upscale the graphics to HDTVs o gosh.
wiiu gamepad and 3ds is ok since they are basicly a tablet and a sp screen. But on a tv screen? Ugh
I connected my Kindle Fire HD to my 55" HDTV and it displays Simspons TO in 1080p and looks awesome too.
It would make the most sense on PSN as a "Cross-Buy" game.
Then you could play it on the PS3/PS4/Vita.
In addition, they could utilize the Cross-Controller feature on the PS3/PS4 and let the user control it using the touch screen on the Vita. That, along with standard controller, Dual Shock 4 touch pad, and Sony Move, would give you several choices.LJM0101 wrote:
This would never work on consoles. How would these hourly tasks work on a console? If you took the game out the time would just stop or reset depending on saves I guess and then all the additional content. You know Microsoft charges for DLC so that would be awful. This is not the type of game for consoles....at all.
Huh?? It would work EXACTLY the same as any other device. Consoles are quite capable of telling time!
Microsoft does not charge for free DLC. If you are talking about MS charging the developer there are way around that too. Several games on PSN and XBL have frequent updates. Some of them are also FreeToPlay as well.- What i would really love instead of just putting tapped out on consoles is for
EA to remake The Simpsons Hit and Run! I absolutely LOVE that game and spent many many hours on that, actually i still have it lol
For those who dont know its a PC/PS2/Xbox game that came out in 2003 (i believe) and was basically a Simpsons GTA with quests and races etc! Drive around the whole town, run around the power plant you name it!
I know EA didnt make the orignal but would be amazing if they made a new one :)
Please i would love a up to date version of it!
trailer - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kx0aRPrAyU - Initially i would say yes, purely for the fact the graphics would be better, how the rest of the game would work not too sure really. Do prefer it on the phone as i can play it where ever i am :)
