- Wonder how well they could integrate it with Kinect? I remember playing Roller Coaster Tycoon on the original Xbox and it worked fairly well with a controller. If they were to port it to the XB1 pay to win would have to be removed. Microtransactions failed with Halo Spartan Assault. Or course Halo fans pissed and moaned for that to happen.

Insanely hard? Really?
How?
LT/L2: Zoom out.
RT/R2: Zoom in.
Left stick: Move.
Click left stick: Move fast.
D-pad: Spin selected items.
A/X + Left stick: Move items.
Start/options/whatever they call it: Menu
LB/L1 and RB/R1: Scroll items in store.
Quite simple.
It would be hard trying to lay out a town. Trying to select a shrub surrounded by other decorations on a tablet/phone is already hard enough (selects everything else other than what you want), imagine trying to do that using thumbsticks. (Not to mention it would take a lot longer) Now if we could link a tablet to the ps4/XBone (like how we do with battlefield, dead rising 3 etc) we might have something here.
It would be fine on the PS3 (I've played Minecraft, Sim City, etc... smart programming makes this simple)
The PlayStation Move would be perfect too.
Also, people may not realize the PlayStation 4 has a touchpad on the DS4 controller so tapping, pinching, zooming is a non-issue.
And finally I'd love to see how great this would look on a Sony Vita's OLED display!
Not to mention the Vita should have no problem handling the game, unlike my IPod Touch and Kindle Fire HD, which always shut down when visiting friend's.
It just makes sense to put it on PSN and set it as Cross-Buy among the PS3/PS4/PS Vita. Game progress would be shared among all 3 devices.
Edit:
Sony so offers tools to developers to let the player use a PS Vita to control a PS3/PS4 game. It's called Cross Control.- It would take a lot of time anyway. Testing everything. My god poor guys. We have already so many crashes imagine that on console. Also what about the screen? How will they upscale the graphics to HDTVs o gosh.
wiiu gamepad and 3ds is ok since they are basicly a tablet and a sp screen. But on a tv screen? Ugh Bhawks2012 wrote:

also u have any idea (everyone. Not specifically u) how much adapting and testing the game would cost? Too much. Imagine how they would pump the cost of donuts and premium items- Impractical

select a building is difficult normally imagine with kinect.
My thought was that it might actually be easier, since the little hand symbol pops up and you can see where it is on the screen. (Not that kinect always functions quite right or anything, I know it has its issues.)
I'm sure changing the platform would be difficult, no matter what. I was just trying to think of any ways tapped out could work as a console game, aside from the wii U or a handheld with a touchscreen (which would pretty much be no different than playing on a tablet or phone.)- a lot of people are saying it's impractical when it isn't..
instead of tapping like a touchscreen they could replace it with a finger like cursor which you could control with the analog or thumb sticks press x or press down on thumb stick to make it tap the buildings.
going thru decorations wouldn't be any harder as controllers have the analog buttons.
but saying that i would rather it on my PC (without the use of emulators that apparently let you play it on pc)
though they are not likely to make it as most people with a console would have a smart phone capable of playing it anyway unless they have a windows phone or something. benjaminsamms wrote:
Because EA can barely handle all of the devices it's currently trying to provide for?
Lol - At least some people "get it"... putting Tapped Out on the PS4/One would just expand its audience.
