THOH Crafting ratios

This thread is mainly aimed at new players and anyone who is finding it a struggle to obtain the final prizes. Firstly, make sure you follow the digging pattern as posted in the Strategy thread to maximise earnings.
The best ratio for crafting in Act 1 is the Transylvania Chalet. Newer players may decide to craft multiples of the 2 buildings that pay out an income.

  • Thank you. I figured this out yesterday and was meaning to post it today (left it at work), and you took care of it.

This is an underrated strategy point.
  • Updated the first post. Credit to Wikisimpsons for info.
The digging pattern can also be found in the ‘Mini Games with random rewards’ thread.
Method for using the fewest axes to locate the relic:

Dig the squares in the order given. Stop if:

    • You uncover the relic. Lucky you! No need to go any further.
    • You uncover rocks. You're close. One square away. Dig the squares adjacent to (above or across, not diagonal) the rocks until you uncover the relic.

While they are, I don't think they generate cash, so for very negligible benefit, you're losing cash/XP

    Joint 4th!

The lower the number on the right is, the better, basically.

Great chart for those not skilled in math/maths.
