Looks like a creative repackaging for many things we’ve seen before. I can imagine that would be fun for noobs and still not just a rerun for vets. But I don’t want more castles, as I created a “Castle Row” when I did my full rebuild but it’s full! I would have to shift a lot of stuff around to maintain my castle neighborhood. Ah heck, that IS the challenge isn’t it though?Honestly I would like to see more than the standard 4h game mechanics. I do miss the days of choosing super heroes to fight each other, or hunting down roaming critters to tap.

Not a fan of skins. Go through and set the ones you like then along comes a send . . . task and they all get reset - plus new characters earn more for noobs than a skin will, even at 1.5x premium rate.Why couldn't Astronaut Homer or Pin Pal Apu or whoever just go do whatever job the regular version could, unless it's a specific task that requires a specific skin and it's not the one you chose ?!?

Not complaining, it will make it easier to put the content together as a distinct area. Cross dimensional leakage would be the perfect event to reintroduce the wandering NPCs vanquished by tapping. Repel the orcs and goblins!

Personally, I think this is the best set of prizes offered in years. I love the medieval village theme, which seems so much more cohesive than most events. I too, moved my town around a bit to make room for all of the items. I can't remember another event that added so many new buildings!

I'm curious how many items are included in the wall bundle. I'm guessing only a few of each, with more available for donuts once unlocked?

I saw that you had dropped by. I'm disappointed that the first act yields a mailbox and 2 buildings. I would have liked walls etc to start designing sooner. That seems to be more common now. Hate to say it but when we had to craft items it seemed like you had something to do during the hole event. Now it seems like a lot of hurry up and wait. If they did a gardening event we would get flowers as the last prize of the last act lol.

Yeah man, your town is looking VERY good, I enjoyed taking an extended tour! I do agree that the prize track is not well executed, especially with a mailbox first. But I cant deny that this easier, 4hr cycle DOES elminate a lot of anxiety over checking in enough times per day. I dont really miss the days of setting 4am alarms to do a scheduled tap.

I stocked up on these walls but I don’t plan to use them for this event’s new design. I may use them to replace other existing walls, just to increase variety in my town. But I am too close to the max limit to be freely creative with a kingdom wall for Springfieldia :(

Stocking up on walls is a good idea… you never know when they’ll be just what you need further down the track.

I haven’t enjoyed the dialogue and story in an event for a long time. I came into it with low expectations but this has been a lot of fun so far :)

Back when the Outlands event was out I was not so donut rich and just managed to get enough fences for my design at the time ( in the last few seconds before the timer ran out ) and since wished to add to it but those never returned AFIK. Since then when there's walls etc I buy in the hundreds, perhaps even a thousand, just to be sure !! Half the reason I leave the "shopping" til the last act, so I can make my mind up not what I want but how many !! Also means I don't get bogged down in side-quests until I get the prizes.

Do not trust anyone who sends you private messages offering to help you out of the blue. they charge for help and break towns by giving stuff they should not. your prior post about this was removed because it breaks the rules here.
