You'll do a lot better picking one springfield at level 25 with 5 stars. I spend 20 minutes going in and out of a friend's springfield and then start collecting $1,000 per tap. XP points don't mean much at higher levels.
Don't do this unfriendly BS.
Those of us who have towns that give you that kind of earning have the game crash if you do it while we are playing. Go in once, get your tap boosted by $10 to $60 and then go on.
And try being neighborly. Look around, click on the wilted plants and rejuvenate them, or the spray cans and create some graffiti to be cleaned. It doesn't impact your game play and helps the person whose town you visitedTrieste53 wrote:

You might do a lot better, but that poor 5 star Springfield friend will be rendered will be a crashy mess for 20 minutes with all that traffic you are subjecting them to.dcline414 wrote:

Has this been previously discussed? This is the first I've seen that neighbors visiting your town can cause connectivity issues.
Personally, I have never seen a connection between crashes and neighbors visiting.
I totally believe people jumping in and out of your springfield will cause issues with crashing!! Due to the game having to update with the handshake symbols etc. Thats one reason why i deleted alot of my friends to try and reduce this affect. (didnt work as well as id thought) only crashing once/twice per collection now where as before it was way too many!!- petergeenenNew Spectator

Perhaps we can do a test. If you are interested, send me a PM, so we can agree on a time and date to check this out. Keep in mind that we have a six hour time difference (Atlanta - Belgium). petergeenen wrote:

Petergeenen and dcline414 are on the case!!! I refer to the two of you for all things "Friends Bonus". It's funny people still do it wrong, and post about it like it's breaking news. My guess is re-entering a town can't be good for the person who's town you're entering.- I dont do the big bonus anymore. Too Much trouble. Heck I hardly even visit friends anymore. I earn allot more than I need with regular daily playing. I have enough extra cash now to sustain me for years. (as long as I play everyday.)
I have no plans on spending allot on decorations as from what I read here too many cause crashes and people end up storing them anyway.
Now If the friends bonus earned donuts. I would be in again!
If I do the bonus I use my own town. No harm no foul. - I just noticed yesterday that while in game the synchronizing screen will pop up for a few seconds at random times then return me to my SF. After I return, I see a friend has collected. If I'm moving or adding decorations/buildings, I've lost what I was doing when the sync occurs.
During the Christmas update, i was in my town alot and I don't recall the game throwing you to the sync screen everytime a friend visited. Is this new behavior? Or am I just noticing it now because I'm spending so much time in my town redecorating? Simpsons00001 wrote:

My point exactly!!- Personally, it's pretty obvious when someone enters my town. It starts to lag, jump and then crash. When I come back in, there are handshakes.

It's been mentioned in several threads. I think it's one of the reasons MoopsDude quit, since before he quit he had a huge shrub sign telling people to knock it off. And he posted more than once against it.
Personally, during Xmas I would notice a sudden freeze, see something like Simpsons or Brown House get a handshake, then a crash. And then about 5 - 10 minutes before I could get in. I purged everyone on my friends list who posted about doing this (except you) and my stability went up. And when I had a crash I could go right back in.
Occasionally I notice this occurring. I'll take the time to visit other towns a couple times, and make note of which ones are showing signs of large cash infusions, and delete them. Stability goes back up.
