Tired of 8, 12, & 24hr tasks.

Sorry for my rant.
  • It's ok lol. I swear today was a Monday in disguise.

Just a side tip you may already know, you can put the questline for the character on hold until after the event.

oops I may have misread what you mean....

As the post states. Every time now when we get a new char or skin, we get 8, 10 or 12hr tasks over multiple days to activate it.

    Enough!

Why should I have to spend upwards of 24hrs just to activate a free char?

The chars spend time doin' these tasks, when they could be earning me currency.

If I BUY a CHAR, it's mine. I should be allowed to activate it on purchase, not run through EA's hoops and blunders!

Don't worry....Senator Palantine gets the nomination.

The quest lines associated with the skins, or new characters are supposed to be fun. If the character has to do something as part of the questline, you do get the cash and XP associated with the time spent, so your character is earning you cash immediately like you wanted.

Ah, you're not getting what I mean. New char's are getting long quest lines, not allowing them to immediately collect event currency, when they are purchased or earned.

That's what I was bipping about.

    Sorry for the confusion.

    Any particular character(s)?

(& apologies for being dense... )

  • I enjoy the new characters coming Into the Springfield (Premium or not) and I also enjoy the quests line too.
But I do agree the length of time, particularly the 24 hour period are tedious.

  • you don't have to send them on the quest-line task if you don't want to.... just leave it and send them on whatever event task you want to earn event currency... the quest can wait until the event is done (it will just sit in your queue until you get back to it).

  • I'm tired of 1 hour 4 hour tasks. When I'm away from the game for 12 hours, I lose tons of income by having them go idle after an hour.

The 24s are much better now that you can speed them up with an hour remaining.
