to kill or not to kill gremlins

I wouldn't imagine after the disaster of whacking day that the gremlins take anything from you, plus if you imagine they get 1 or 2 ghosts from your town if you catch it you get 2-4 goos anyway so you wouldn't really loose anything worse case
