I know it seems slow-paced, but that's because they've locked things up in three steps ... I mentioned before that I think this seems like three mini-events, and to be honest, I like it this way. There won't be weeks during which nothing is happening for a lot of hardcore players, as we had with the CoC event, and to some extent with StoneCutters.
I'm not sure how happy or unhappy we're going to be when we learned the truth about how the carry-overs are going to work out. Part of me is worried that they'll throw a wrench in somehow for those of us who are close to crafting, say, the Grand Pumpkin, so I'm going to go ahead and pay whatever number of donuts I can get it down to at about the 12-hour-before-the-deadline marker. I'm already down to less than 40 donuts for the pumpkin and around 34 for the house, so I figure it will be within 50 total for both, and I'll go ahead and buy them just to be sure.
But I like the event a lot so far ... wish we could let our neighbors know we've been around ... :)
