Today's tasks

Just started the second 4 hour task, I have had them be pretty accurate so far. Pacific time zone.

Where are you, what timezone, and what time did you start the first task?

Sounds like you started your tasks early, so 2-1-2-2 (which is what I had as well) means you did 2 of yesterdays tasks because you started before your parchment puzzle unlocked (and therefore before it started todays schedule), and 2-4-2-2 means you did one of yesterdays tasks before todays schedule kicked in.

If you can, try and do one task early tomorrow (before the time your parchment unlocks) so you can avoid the first 6 hour task. :-)

Those of us in the Pacific time zone live where the EA servers live. (EA servers, however do not observe Daylight Savings) We will match the calendar unless one of two things happens:

1. If we stay up until midnight and schedule our first task at that time, our FIRST task of the new day will match the FIRST task of the day before. All the other tasks (2, 3, and 4) will match tasks 2, 3, and 4 of the new day.


2. If we start (but do not clear) Task four of the day before, then when we clear it, that will be given credit for Task One of the new day. And, just as the first scenario above, all the other tasks (2,3, and 4) will match tasks 2, 3, and 4 of the new day.

From what i realized, if uou start tbe tasks before a certain time the first one is different. The rest should follow the scedule

That's in California. We only have 1 hour "wiggle room" from midnight to 1AM. So only our first task can be manipulated.

The East coast has 3 hours. Europe has 9. They can take advantage of the previous day's short tasks and sometimes appear to hardly "match" the calendar. Heck, from what I'm reading, our friends in Australia are sometimes able to manipulate their entire day! :)

New Zealand number 1 tasks reset at noon, and parchment day starts 8pm. Brilliant schedule ;)

This is mostly right.

If you start tasks after midnight, the game will follow the schedule for the previous day UNTIL the time hits 8 AM GMT. Then, the game will follow the sequence for the following day.

If you work night shifts or are otherwise nocturnal, you can exploit this. For example, yesterday, June 16 was supposed to be 2-1-4-4, and today, June 17 is supposed to be 4-4-2-2.

I'm in the Eastern time zone (GMT -4). On June 17, at midnight EDT (4 AM GMT), I started the first task, which was the first 2-hr task from June 16. When it completed, I started the second task, which was the 1-hr task on the June 16 schedule. Then, I force closed the app and waited until after 4 AM (8 AM GMT) to come back and clear the second task, so that the third task would be from the June 17 schedule. As expected, the third task was 2 hours long.

This has been 100% predictable for me.
