Too many flags?

As I explained in another post, I freaking LOVE the 4th of July and the American Flag. I think it's because I was born in 1970, so when I started school the whole country was gearing up for the Bicentennial in 1976. All of the excitement of the beginning of school was extra amazing because everything in my world was Star Spangled Red White and Blue and Declared Independent from any sort of Good Taste!

When the flags became available in Springfield, I went a little overboard. I might have gone a tad batshiat crazy, even. They are everywhere. I might buy more, before they go away. My feeling is, if 100 flags are good, 2000 flags are not quite enough, right?

But, today while I was going through my Springfield looking for stuff to tap, I realized that my flag fetish might not be as pleasant for my neighbors as it is for me. And even worse, it might slow their systems down or cause them to crash. :-(

Is anyone having issues with their overly patriotic neighbors? Should I tone down my Yankee Doodle Dandyfied Springfield?

Umm ... Well ... I should probably recuse myself from this discussion...
