Life and Death EP is flagged as Base game

So I got the new DLC and everything is flagged as base game. I've repaired my game, didn't fix the issue, I've uninstalled the game, didn't fix it, I did the EA app recovery and that didn't work either. The same thing happened to me with the two new build and but kit packs. It's super frustrating because the new Life and Death world won't even show up in the select world menu :/ When I go to the packs tab in build buy the two kits and new EP won't be there. I'm so annoyed with this bug and I have no idea if it's because of a mod or if it's The Sims 4 just being The Sims 4. If anyone has any advice or if this is happening to you as well please let me know I'm desperate for any type of solution.
