Too much defense = Bad

When I attack with one nerd, I'm not even expecting to destroy the building - in fact, what I'd really like is for the person I attacked to defend as quickly as possible so that I can get that elixir and gold and perhaps a retaliatory attack from the same person to generate even more reward more quickly. Players with high defense ratings are more likely to be more frequent players, so I have actually been seeking them out! Who knows what the best strategy is, my guess is that regular players will be able to finish everything quite easily without needing to worry a whole lot about strategy or the best way to use nerds and cheater dice.
