Town portrait finally working
Yippee, my town portrait finally works !! At last I can see what my town looks like, instead of trying to zoom out and panning across all the time. Drove me nuts!

Mine came good a few weeks back. I play on a phone and hadn't done anything different that I'm aware of - no updates or clearing space - but after months of portraits no larger than 1-2MB, it suddenly jumped to closer to what it used to be, around 20MB.
