I must say that these events no longer have the charm they used to have in the early years of the game. Halloween was always one I looked forward to the most. But now it's just too much storyline-driven and the rewards are just barely interesting. These days they only give building that only had a long forgotten cameo in the series or just plainly useless decorations. And they barely add the event's atmosphere to the town anymore. I really long for those days where the halloween events had one simply prize track for the full period of the event, which required you collect a special event currency by tapping on creatures (e.g. ghosts) which would spawn and roam through the fog that covered your town.
