TSTO console game companion (idea)

I like this idea. You build your town in the mobile game, then explore it on the ground in 3-d using virtual reality goggles or just your TV.
The console game could involve any new mechanics or goals. Two different games - but - you can sync to the console and share your mobile database, using it to provide setting data for the SF you've created.
And then of course include access to the in-game store so you could buy more premium items while you're in your virtual SF. Increased donut sales! Why aren't they building this already??
