Two Quick ?'s re: Snake Rock/Stump/Trunk

you have to tap them to unleash the snakes from each trunk/stump/rock. You can have multiple of each, and "open" one at a time. Just collect most of your free roaming snakes before popping them open.

I have one of each. You can click on them to see how much time is left until it regenerates more snakes. Once the 4 hours pass, a little snake head will float above it (like a cash register, dollar sign, itchy and scratchy heads, menu, etc). You click it and the snakes get released from that item. You can have as many as you want and they will keep generating in that way. First clear out the rest of your town since there is a limit to how many snakes can be running wild in your town at one time.

I don't have any of these items but I've seen them in people's towns and I noticed that I can tap them instead of buildings. This restarts the timer so they regenerate faster, yes?

What happens with the rock, stump, log after whacking day ends? Will the generate anything or be worthless?

I was worried about the 50 snake limit myself when I overslept this morning. But, as I cleared out the 50, the backlog popped in, one at a time, until they were all wacked. You'll be fine if you run late. As for the items, I suspect like Bad Dream House and Santa Village, they will produce money after the event.
