Unfriending issue
I had the same problem yesterday. I couldn't add friends myself either, but when invited I could accept. This morning I could both delete and add neighbors and I'm not doing anything different, so maybe a temporary malfunction?

I'll keep my fingers crossed, thanks derek- Sounds like the game having issues at the moment, might be worth leaving it for a bit and trying again later or tomorrow. Have you tried closing the app and re-starting it?
Hopefully you will be able to remove these people soon. - Have you tried resetting your device to factory defaults?
- This happens to me sometimes on iPad so I log in to Origin account on computer and do it from there. :D
- Happens to me every once in a while. Sometimes either hard-closing the app or re-starting the device solves it. Other times I just have to wait. :?
- Have you tried reinstalling windows?
- All you need to do is sign out and sign back in.

I'm playing on iPad so wasn't that, just uninstall and reinstall game.
