- i only do that after 4-5 days from event beginning and they did 0 progress on that. seems fair
- Sometimes RL gets in the way of playing. I was on 8 month hiatus and now am back to 3-4 times a day
- I usually give them up until I run out of buildings to tap. Some older players actually have enough buildings where it's taken up to six weeks to notice they were inactive.

I tend to give neighbors a little more than 3 days of inactivity before removing them.
For a lot of my neighbours, they automatically level up. So if I see a level 58, I check to see when the last time they played was. If a neighbour has been inactive for 3 weeks, I'll remove him or her. There was a pretty big gap between 58 and 59 and with the 24 hour XP accelerator thrown into the mix as well, this may be the easiest time to already be levelled up before the update dropped.- I don't care what level my friends are on, as long as there's stuff to tap in their town. Most of the friends I've removed were at the highest level, but had stopped playing.
- AnnathewickedRising TravelerI am an active culler of my friends list - But I always keep in mind that you never know what is keeping someone away..... maybe they are sick, perhaps someone they love passed.......... You have to give them a little time - maybe they have a reason for absence.

Now is a good time to speed up your unfriending process. Check what neighbours are still at level 58 and if they don't meet your criteria, buh bye. Happy tapping!
It you only want top level neighbors, that's your choice. But that's not a reasonable criteria for dropping neighbors, nor is this announcement serving the public.
I have many neighbors who are low levels. I like helping newer players.
Now, if someone doesn't have things to tap several days in a row, that IS a likely evictee. But when i do this, i don't need to make a new thread for it. :? - One of my best neighbors hasn't done this event at all. I can't remember where I got this neighbor, if it was here or another forum, if he requested me. I can't bring myself to unfriend him, though.
- Let me clarify what I was saying. For the way my friends list is constructed, I can go check the level 58 people and see the last time they have played. So I go check and if it has been 3+ weeks, I'm under the assumption they have stopped playing. I wasn't implying I only want top level neighbours. I actually enjoy the lower level neighbours because I get to watch his or her town as it evolves. Checking the 58's is a good time to monitor inactivity.
