If it was a new level, you would have gotten the level up screen even if all your characters were busy.

I'm glad to see this post, I thought I was going crazy. Or maybe I'd lost my calendar skills, but the "crazy" thing seemed more likely. I logged on to find my TSTO busily downloading, which I was expecting today, and then I opened my town and.....NOTHING CHANGED!!! Dun dun dunnnnnnn.
I did notice that someone put graffiti in my town today. Has that been happening all along and I'm just now noticing, or is it something that came back with the mini-update?
