I've updated and the splash screen appears. No dialog starts and the game will crash if I select the move or storage icon on a building or decoration. I've restarted my device and done two complete...

Exactly. I've basically lost a day because Ill held off on everything so the event was ready to begin. This night has been a wash because the app did update but the update won't run. This is a joke and really turning me off.
