V-Day Decoration Bonus?

I noticed that the other day when I got my second Choo Choo. After getting a third one today (thanks, EA), I see that the bonus percentage did increase. Maybe it'll simply fix itself?

Hopefully they fix it. I'm not outraged by it or anything, but that's probably because they were all free to me. But if I had paid doughnuts for the Cozy Hammock and not receive a bonus, I wouldn't be to happy.

the Valentines Day items are counting towards the bonus. but, bonus items don't count towards individual collections until a new cycle is started. for example, if you place the train and then collect from Gulp-n-blow an hour later, that new 2.25% will not be reflected then, because the % bonus is only added at the start of a collection cycle.

at least that's how my game worked this morning. I added the train this morning, and then collected GNB right after. when i collected GNB again just now, my bonus was 3% higher (the addtional .25% pushed me past the round-up mark).

Interesting. I will have to look later. I was just buying weather stations to see if the multiplier increased. Also, checked a couple of white houses. Neither had increased.

My percentage has definitely gone up. Before v-day, I got 1287 XP (28.7%) from the weather station, and now I'm getting 1338 XP.

I've noticed this too, it does seem to take a bit of time for the bonus to kick in but trust me all the v-day bonus items do pay. My multiplier has skyrocketed since bringing out last years decorations from storage plus getting new decorations that pay out a bonus.

My preferred method is to buy a weather station, because it pays out 1000 XP. I count up how much XP I get over that amount, and divide by 10 to get my exact multiplier.
Example: as I said, it gives me 1338 XP to get a weather station. So the amount over 1000, 338, indicated the bonus. Divide by ten, and it comes out that my bonus is 33.8%

You can also collect from a gulp'n'blow, which pays out $100, so the amount of cash over 100 will approximate your multiplier percent, but the weather station is more precise and on-demand, which is why I prefer it.

I always used the gulp and blow method. Just did a weather station I and I got 391.3

I look at one of the highest payout, like the Burns Manor, to get a more accurate result. It pays out 520$ so if you get, for example 700$, you have 700/520= 1,346. If you want to know how much do you get from other building, for example the hospital, you only need to do 300x1,346= 404$.
To know the percentage multiply by 100 and sustract 100, so 134,6% -100= 34,6%.
