Vanishing building

I was changing my sons Springfield around for him earlier and stored the majority of his building, when i came to put them out again part of the nuclear plant had gone and is now showing up to be bought again, I didn't sell it by accident or anything because I checked everything and his money didn't change, I tried rebooting the game but it hadn't come back, anybody had a similar problem or can suggest a fix? Thanks for any advice.
