Its because someone else has tapped the building and they haven't cleared the handshake.

I also feel we are being made to visit people, which as i say i finding the time to visit all 100 people is very time consuming but as you rightly say the signpost system does make things a lot better :)
Tbh It wouldn't bother me if anyone didn't visit me, I don't need the more nor the xp, and buy the looks of things my neighbours are in the same boat, the only reason I do it to help them get stampy, once I see it in there towns I'll pull back on visiting as often unless they're low level( I don't think I have any low levels) :lol:
